He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lou Carter (Williams) and Dr. Robert Louis Carter; his wife Wanda Carter (Caples); his daughters, Christy Fowler (Paul), Melissa Sims, Macy Lou Carter and Katelin Carter; and his grandchildren, Abby, Shelby, Jackson, Connor and Anderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Navarre Funeral Home (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carter Construction (4195 Kilgore Pkwy, Baytown, TX 77523).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to Helping Paws of Chambers County, Our Pet Project, PetSet, Baytown Junior Forum Goodfellows, KSBJ, Deck My Room, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or any other charity you feel compelled to donate to.
