He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Preuss and Elsie Koehne; his brother Robert Preuss; and his stepson Robert Vaughan. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Wilbert Jr. (Diana Preuss); his stepdaughter Denice Thumann; his grandchildren, Mason Thumann, Katelyn Thumann and Weston Preuss; Peggy Preuss, James Preuss, Jeannette Fisher and Kellie Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Wilbert's memory.
