He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vallian Lamb; his sons, Avery Jr. and Zvery Keith Lamb; his sister Reba Lamb of Atlanta, Georgia; his uncles, Toby Duncan of Port Arthur, James Lane and Raymond Myers of Beaumont; and his cousins, Rodney Lamb and Glen Duncan.
