She is survived by: her husband O'dell Dyson Sr.; her children, Samantha Dyson, Kelley Nichols (Matthew), Kacey Irvin (Shad), Sarita Lightfoot (Randy), Maryanne Thomas (Phil), Catherine Freddie (Jeffrey), Felicia Thomas (Lawrence) and O'dell Dyson Jr.; and her siblings, Steve Carter, Ronald Speights (Fran), Evelyn Tolbert and Avery Sylvester.
