He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bunyard and Lee Ola Bunyard; his siblings, Benny and Helen Buell; and his granddaughter Kara Beth Whitney.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kara Beth; his wife Pat Bunyard; his daughters, Robyn Whitney, Debbie Pallone (Chris) and Patti Martin (Doug); his grandchildren, Katie Celli (Frank), Luke Whitney (Victoria), Sunni Moss (Ryan), Jacob Pallone (Marissa), Bailey Martin (Paul) and Oliver Martin; his great grandchild Marabeth Celli; and his brother Reg Bunyard.
