He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Rains and Archie Thompson; and his wife Barbara Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Karen T. Butler (Robin) of Beaumont and Scott Thompson (Rebecca) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Angela Strahan (Joe), Eric Butler (Pamela Trigo), Christopher Thompson (Olivia) and Cody Thompson (Alicia); and his sister Patricia Armstrong of Fort Walton, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
