He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Michel (Jenny); and his brother Anthony Michel (Tony). He is survived by: his father Adam Michel of Woodville; his children, Clayton Michel of Jasper, Dylan Rivero (April) of Plano and Anissa Read; and his siblings, Michael Michel (Becky) of Angleton, Stacey Michel of Jasper and Melissa Stark (Kevin) of Hillister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
