He is survived by: his daughter Markimbra Smith; his stepdaughter Nicole Wilson; his nephew Timothy Smith; his siblings, Minnie Pearl Slaughter, Joe Smith (Carol) of Beaumont and James Smith (Ann) of Houston; and his close friends, Diania Deroune, Sammie and Mary Hicks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
