It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Critt Daniel Walton Sr. in Beaumont, Texas, born in Ben Hur, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Walton (Cress) and Garnett Daniel Walton; his siblings, Joan Pennington Bledsoe and J. L. Pennington; and his brother-in-law Larry Hartgrove.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. Walton of Beaumont, Texas.; his children, Critt Daniel Walton, Jr. (Sherry), Jacob Jon Walton (Heather) and Shannon Fox Burnett (Bryce); his grandchildren, Trace Walton, Cayman Walton, Grayson Walton, Lane Walton, Kaydance Walton, Beau Burnett and Bryley Burnett; his sister Barbara Walton Reed (Benny); his brother-in-law Kyle Bledsoe, Sr.; his mother-in-law Cleo Phillips; and his sibling's children, Charles Hartgrove, Kyle Bledsoe, Jr., Debbie Geer, Sonja Wyman, Theresa Brooks, Randy Bledsoe and Sheila Smith.
