He is survived by: his wife Jean Case; his sons, Steven Case (Mary) and Jeffrey Case (Kirsten); his grandchildren, Ethan Case and Alexis Karkanis; his nephew Eric Case; and his nieces, Christina Phelps and Laura Sharp.

His wish was that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
