It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Oliver Munson of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Christopher Munson (Theo) and Anna Nosek Munson; his siblings, Theolyn Worthey and Jerry Munson; his wife Dolores Evelyn Munson; and his daughters, Marilyn Morvant, Julie Munson and Susan Caffery.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Roy (Marty), Gail Ellington and Chris Munson (SeSee). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to local animal shelters, rescues, or non-profit organizations, honoring Gene's lifelong love for all creatures great and small.
