He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Felix Lerma Amaro and Maria Caballero Vasquez; his children, Felix, Daniel, Claudia, Adriana and Juan Carlos; and his sisters, Graciela and Maria. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
