She was predeceased by : her husband Dwight Spell; her daughter Janet Thompson; her parents, Canvy Linscombe and Sadie Morgan Linscombe; and her grandson Jason Galassi.

She is survived by : her children, Ann Galassi (Frank), Kathy Draves and Louis Spell (Gail). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
