He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Otis James and Margie Lois Spigener James; and his brothers, Bobby Gene and Billy Ray James. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lakey James; his children, Wendy James Ashworth (Jimmy) of Sour Lake and Rory James (Tanya Lughermo) of Spring; his grandchildren, Kyler Ashworth, Taylor James, Aden James and Bryley James; and his brother-in-law Bryan Lakey (Jean) of Fort Worth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
