He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Speyrer and Horace Speyrer; and his brother H. J. Speyrer. He is survived by: his nephew Jake Speyrer; his wife Jeri; his children, Lindy Goodwin (Mike), Dana Kahla, Joni Barrow (Ricky) and Greg Askew (Julie); his grandchildren, Christopher Goodwin, Quinten Kahla, Cullen Barrow, Jake Askew (Crystal), J. T. Askew and Jason Goodwin; and his children, Mark Goodwin, Tyler Kahla, Kris Kahla, Jeremy Barrow, Mandy Fortenberry (Evan) and Allison DaCosta. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, friends, and faithful dog, Buddy.
