He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Fitzwater and Dorothy Erwin; his wife Clara Kimball Fitzwater; his son Howard E. Fitzwater, Jr. (Gene); and his siblings, Leefayne Wilson, Richard Dale Fitzwater and Lorren Fitzwater.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Fitzwater of Beaumont; and his siblings, David Erwin of Mauriceville, Lesyle Bradley of Orange, Mary Moenter (Pete) of Naples, Larry Fitzwater of Naples and Ron Fitzwater (Caroline) of Beasley. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
