He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Butaud and Lois Butaud; and his brother Larry Julian Butaud. He is survived by: his wife Ann Butaud of Fannett; his children, Lorri Payne (Terry) of Austin, Michelle Diffee of Dallas, Bree Hinds (Richard) of Beaumont, Mandi Butaud (Justlin Hollier) of Groves and Chris Thigpen (Kerri) of Austin; his grandchildren, Taylor Payne, Lexy Payne, Parker Payne, Price Payne, Tanner Diffee, Micah James Diffee, GeriAnna Diffee, Camryn Thigpen, Chase Ryan Butaud (Natalie), Courtlynn Butaud, Cambree Sanders, Chloe Roark (Nathan) and Cayson Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Simon and Riley Butaud.
