He is survived by: his children, James Kenner Varner and Carlyn Varner; his grandchildren, Keerstyn and Madison; and his siblings, Oscar Varner (Lynn), Doris Varner-Bennett and Dorthy Fields. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church (3755 Fannett Rd, Beaumont, TX 77705). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
