He was predeceased by: his parents, T. McCray Smith and Lodee Smith; his wife Linda McCray; and his siblings, Patricia Huff, Joe Limbrick, Lenon Seal, Billy Seals and Ralph Black.
He is survived by: his children, James L., Thaddeus McCray, Ronny Davidson, Ronitha Pickens (Patrick), Glenda McCray, LaShelle McCray, Trina McCray, Tanya Jenkins and Jacquelyn Reynolds (Jerome); and his brothers, Earnest Seals, Carnell Seals and Reverend Horace Black. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
