It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jody Wilson of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jody Wilson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Bowers and Agnes Bowers; her husband Elray Wilson; her granddaughter Jamie Wilson; and her brother Clayton Bowers.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Walker (Doug) of Keller, TX, Steve Wilson (Theresa) of Beaumont, TX and Tim Wilson (Janet) of Kerrville, TX; her granddaughters, Lindsey Thomas (Jason), Ashley Blake (Jordan), Whitney Ellis (David), Nicole Wilson (Jack) and Corynn Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Addison Blake, Bailey Blake, Landry Thomas, Gemma Huang, Knox Thomas, Wilson Ellis and John Huang.

“It seems that our family has known Jody all our lives, though it was not literally that long. Reet first met Jody as a teenager when she came to Toowoomba with Elray. It was not until we came to the US for one year (23 years ago) that we really got to know Jody. We spent our first Thanksgiving in the USA at the Rocking W. It was then that we came to know Jody. What a wonderful week. Jody treated us like royalty. What a blessing she has been to all. I know she will be greatly missed by family.”
