We announce the death of Joginder Singh of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sardar Sant Singh and Surjit Kaur. He is survived by: his wife Manjit Singh; his daughters, Rani Akhtar (Jeff Akhtar) of Beaumont, TX and Noni Bakshi of Knoxville, TN; his siblings, Swaran Kaur of New Jersey, Rajinder Singh (Surinder Kaur) of Lake Charles, LA, Harbhajan Singh (Jaspal Kaur) of New Jersey, Balwart Singh of Alabama, Satnam Singh (Balbir Kaur) of Beaumont, TX and Harjinder Singh (Gursharon Kaur) of California; and his grandchildren, Amber Akhtar (David Martisek) of Friendswood, Ashlyn Akhtar-Bieganowski (Zachary Bieganowski) of Houston, Amron Sultan Akhtar of Dubai, Aron Akhtar of Dubai, Akshay Bakshi of Knoxville and Arjan Bakshi of Knoxville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657).
