He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Ruffino (Tommy) of Holland, Lavisa Upton (Bob) of Allen, Denise Barron (Stan) of Richmond, John Payne, Jr. (Ginger) of China and Teresa McCoy (Paul) of Saratoga; his grandchildren, Charlie Ruffino (Lisa) of Sour Lake, Karey Poe of Academy, Clayton Upton of Allen, Kyndell Upton of Allen, Whitney George (Bart) of Kansas City, Missouri, Mallory Higgins (Paul) of Iowa, Louisiana, Justin Payne (Ramona) of Lumberton, Joshua Payne (Emily) of Sour Lake, Tara Beaty of Holland and Abby McCoy of Saratoga; and his siblings, Marion Porter of Mont Belvieu and Erma Watson (Byron) of Kirbyville. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
