He was predeceased by: his former wife Dixie Jean Rayburn; his son Johnny Rayburn; his siblings, Bobby Rayburn and Sue McCown; and his stepson Wesley Huff.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Rayburn of Beaumont; his children, Dixie Hodges (Greg) of Beaumont, Amber Sonnier (Hank) of Winnie and Dean Melbourne Rayburn (Kathy) of Burton, TX.; and his stepsons, Tracy Huff (Jolanda) of Beaumont and Mike Huff (Chris) of Beaumont. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
