With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Rose Eldridge of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Sylvia Hunt and Stephanie Grant; her brothers, Alvin Eldridge, Jr. (Cheryl), David Eldridge (Cynthia) and Aaron Eldridge; her stepchildren, Sam Johnson, Jr. and Erica Arvie; her grandchildren, Justin Taylor, Kayla Semien, Courtney Marshall, Stephon Vaughns, Corey Vaughns and Angerline Marshall; and her godchildren, John Eldridge, Jr., Dwan Ardoin, Dewayne Eldridge, Brandon Piper and Brandy Piper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (3081 Hollywood St, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
