He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ashley J. Briggs; his children, Daryeus Briggs, Michael Thibeaux, Jr., Aaiden Thibeaux, Charle'tta Briggs, D'Andrea Briggs-Garrett (Corey), Angelique Thibeaux, Ma'Laya Thibeaux and A'Layjah Thibeaux; his father Hartwell H. Briggs; his siblings, Evelyn Best (Noah), Lovie Jocha (Michael), Tammy Briggs and Lawrence H. Briggs (Alfreda); and his mother Overseer Sandra Battles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Day Deliverance Holiness Church (1310 Van Buren St, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
