Monk of Beaumont, Texas, born in Moorefield, West Virginia, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Harrison Douglas and Raymond John Douglas; and her husband Carl Joseph Monk. She is survived by: her brother Dr. Neil H. Douglas (Shirley); her children, Sallie Sparks (Jeff) of Beaumont, Dr. Doug Monk (Erin) of Kerrville and Stephen Monk of Baytown; her grandchildren, Jacob Sparks, Kaleb Sparks, Matt Monk, Megan Covalt and Madison Stone; and her great grandchildren, Paige, Bennett, Jett and Birdie. She is also survived by her family, friends.
