She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Carolyn Greer Droddy; her husband Clifford Rhea Buck; her daughters, Sarah Helen Askew (Don), Kitty Breen, Katie Mendieta (Domingo) and Lacy Mendieta (Hilario); her father Arnold Gene Droddy; her siblings, Tiger Droddy (Tonya), Cougar Droddy (Angela) and Arnette Buck (William "Bull"); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Gomez, Hailey Goodman, Christopher Mendieta, Brianna Goodman, Justin Mendieta, Emily Mendieta, Larrie Askew, Jasmine Mendieta and Alexandr Mendieta.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
