With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Smith (Beaumont, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Smith and Ruby Smith Bell; and her siblings, Edward Jr., Anthony, Joseph Smith and Rose Smith-Trahan.
She is survived by: her aunts, Gwendolyn Antoine and Betty Meredith. She is also survived by niece, and a great-niece; three great-nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
