She was predeceased by: her son Donald Wayne "Tater" Smith, Jr.; her parents, Harriett Rebecca Coleman and Louis Mishaw, Sr.; her siblings, Jessie B. Smith, Ester Mae Landry, Wilbert Landry, Stella Lee McCartney, Orina D. Manus (Tobe) and Charlie Mishaw; her husband Donald Wayne Smith, Sr.; and her granddaughter Ashley Baldwin.
She is survived by: her son Ira Eugene Smith (Alyssia) of Seattle, Washington; her siblings, Melvin Louis Mishaw, Henry Lee Mishaw (Britta) and Patsy Ruth Robinson; and her friends, Geraldine Mishaw, Donald Polite, Sr., Beatrice Rideaux, Silvira McCartney, Elizabeth Bryant, Janice Pier, Susan Mose, Cheryl Holmes, Coretha Gage, Lauren McCartney, Angie McCartney, Jay Rideaux and Batman (French Bulldog). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
