He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Sims Pugh and Roy Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Billie; his children, John Pugh (Pam Fischer), Sandra Pugh, Earl Bebeau, Susan Pugh Love and Mike Love; his grandchildren, Ross Love (Ashley) and Robyn Love Najera (Adam); his great grandchildren, Reagan Najera, Aden Love, Emelia Najera, Madelyn Najera, Charlie Love, Gary (Pam Alford) and Kelly (Jarvis Shockey); his stepgrandchildren, Evan Gray (Jeremy), Brain Hayes (Jennifer), Ashleigh Thomas (Trey), Kirby Alford (Jesse), Ren Nelson (Nikki) and Townsen Nelson; Dan Flowers. He is also survived by fourteen stepgreat-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broussard's (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77706). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
