He is survived by: his mother Mary Phillips; his wife Sandra Phillips; his children, Michael Earl Phillips II, Lorenzo Ricki Phillips, Jordan Michael Phillips and Oliva Faith Watson; his granddaughter Nyla Skye Phillips; and his siblings, Fred Phillips Jr. and Debora Curtis (Chris Curtis). He is also survived by one niece; several nephews; extended family members; and many dear friends.
