He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence George Murphy. He is survived by: his mother Diane Borgen Murphy; his son Alex Murphy of Beaumont; his aunts, Kathryn Darling of Silsbee and Rebecca Reid of Silsbee; his uncle Kenneth Borgen (Christina) of Los Angeles, California; his stepsiblings, Eric Miller of Oregon, Lisa Whaley of Hemet, California, Lena Gaetan of Washington and Kimberly Schulken of Escondido, California; and his friend Kelly Murphy.
