She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas R. Whiddon, Jr.; her brother Bill Gantt; her grandchildren, Stephen Whiddon and Destiny Whiddon; and her mother Alice Ruth Gantt.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Whiddon (Carrie), Terry Whiddon (Linda) and Lisa Lucas (Carlos); and her grandchildren, Danielle Whiddon, Leah Whiddon, Ginger Pelloat, William Whiddon, Laci Lucas, Tommy Lucas and Colby Lucas. She is also survived by "Nanna" by her family.
