She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Derrick Thomas (Rachael) and Natasha Simmons; her brother Coy "Fred" Joubert (Addie); her grandchildren, Kori (Keith), Dorian, Kendall, Nasya, Keyonie, Anastasia, Amonie and Emonie; and her great grandchild Aelin. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
