She was predeceased by: her parents, Teodula Rivas and Antonio Ramirez; and her husband Mario Oscar Galdámez. She is survived by: her children, Hugo Nelson Galdámez (Ligia Chávez) of Galdámez and Sonia Evelyn Galdámez (Raul Ernesto Flores) of Flores; and her sister Ana Rivas of Zamora.
