He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipa Llanes Caudillo and Jesus Caudillo; his wife Tina Caudillo; his son Robert Caudillo, Jr.; and his siblings, Josephine Rodriguez, Adeline Caudillo and Gilbert "Click" Caudillo.
He is survived by: his daughter Irma Caudillo Salazar (Robert Salazar, Sr.) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Robert Salazar, Jr. (Jennifer) of Spring, Brian Salazar (Kristine) of Humble, Eric Salazar of Beaumont, Ethan Caudillo (Elizabeth Harvey) of Houston and Desiree Deplano (Julian) of College Station; his great grandchildren, Emily Salazar, Katelyn Salazar and Coralie Salazar; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Caudillo.
