He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Luisa Perez and Baltazar Torres; his former wife Martha Torres; and his brothers, Genaro Torres, Antonio Torres and Jose Luis Torres.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Orbelina Marquez Argueta; his children, Ana Torres of Beaumont, Roberto G. Torres of Beaumont and Rosalinda Torres (Ray Lopez) of Beaumont; his grandson Rafael Santos Compean; his children, Giovanni Gutierrez and Alondra Gutierez; and his siblings, Joaquin Torres, Santiago Torres, Alicia Estrada, Elvira Torres and Juan Torres.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Broussard's (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
