He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hemphill "T. H." Lackey and Helen Walterene; and his brother Charles "Sonny" Lackey. He is survived by: his stepfather Billups; his wife Judy Lackey; his children, David (Pamela), Dean (Mary) and Denise Trowbridge (Keith); and his stepdaughters, Alicia Hughes (David) and Ava Morris (David). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
