It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth R Jurik of Beaumont, Texas, born in Sealy, Texas, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Jurik; her parents, Frank Petrusek and Jane Petrusek; and her siblings, Ben Petrusek, Erwin Petrusek and Irene Neshyba.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Jurik, Tom Jurik (Kris), Gayle Robbins and Susan Meitzen; her grandchildren, Stephanie Vickers, Staci Sandwell (J. P.), Kelsi Jurik-Ledbetter (Cole), Jodi Cordle (Alex), Aryn Romer (Michael), Cara Liebman (Jason), Clint Robbins, Whitney Robbins and Jessica Meitzen; and her close friend Audrey Parigi.
Recent covid isolation slowed down her entertaining at home but she still stayed in touch with people on her grandpad.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church to benefit Southeast Texas Food Bank.
