He was predeceased by: his parents, Salma Mehio and Farouk Mehio; and his brother-in-law John Porter. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Flowers (Alissa), Natalie Gore (Derek) and Samir Mehio (Antara); his sisters, Hanane Porter, Dona Naughton (Brian) and Susan LeBlanc (Sal); and his siblings' children, Michael, James, Justin (Reagan) and Sydney.
