With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Kay Smith of Beaumont, Texas, born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Blankenship and Laura Blankenship. She is survived by: her husband Donald Eugene Smith; her daughters, Cheryl Schneider of Beaumont and Teresa Waltenbaugh (Chuck) of Friendswood, Texas; her grandchildren, Richard Craig Schneider (Jennifer) of Layton, Lauren Grindstaff (Steven) of Midland and Jessica Moncebaiz (Troy) of San Marcos, Texas; her great grandchildren, Reilly Schneider, Matthew Schneider, Ella Grindstaff and Saje Grindstaff; and her siblings, Gary Blankenship (Jeanne) of Costa Rica and Beverly Russell (Steve) of Udall, Kansas.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
