She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Anna Gay-Broman and Isaiah Gay Sr.; and her siblings, James Patrick of Washington, Carrie Beatrice Gay-Harrison and Mary Joyce Gay-Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, LaWanda Gay-Holman of Beaumont Texas, Kimberly Gay-Spooner (Michael E. Spooner Jr.) of Missouri City and Jerry LaPoint Jr. (Imelda LaPoint) of Beaumont Texas; and her siblings, Isaiah Gay Jr. (Ruby Jones-Gay) of Beaumont Texas and Donna Gay-Gage of Houston, Texas.. She is also survived by 11 Grand Children; and 7 Great Grand Children, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
