He is survived by: his wife Betty Marie Andrus; his daughter Joy; his granddaughter Laura Brown Valle (Alexie Valle); his sister Betty Ann Brown; his sister-in-law Antoinette Brown (Toni); his siblings, George, Bill Brown, Mary Etta Dixon and Edith Marie McIntosh; his niece Barbara Blankenship; and his nephew Joe McIntosh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
