It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van Ray Walker Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Ray Walker Sr. and Margaret Lucille Coleman Walker; and his sister Yvette Walker Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Galmore Walker; his children, Jessica Boatner (Desmond), Jasmin Melton (Terrance), Carlee Galmore Grewal (Ashwinder), Chardonah Galmore Williams Jr. (Marvin), Solomon Galmore (Alexis), Carl Galmore (Jessica) and Jordan Rideau (Sarah); his brother Dennis Mitchell; and his niece J'Da Sonier. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
