She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert John Sr. and Theresa Bell Broussard; and her son Cory Joubert. She is survived by: her husband Charles Joubert; her children, Deddrick Broussard (Doris Green), Courtney Rice (Thomas) and Toi Joubert; and her siblings, Merlin Broussard, Albert John Broussard Jr., Connie Johnson (Clyde) and Valerie Benjamin (Norris Jr.). She is also survived by six grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
