He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Calhoun and Leah Stuckey Barnett; his wife Opal Ray Barnett; his former wife Lillie Prewitt; his son Billy Ray Barnett; and his siblings, John Barnett, Roy Barnett, Jamie Barnett, Iris Moore and Mary Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Barnett (Diane) of Beaumont, TX, Bobby Prewitt of Vidor, TX, Peggy Collins, Bert Rummery of Vidor, TX, Laurie Wisenbaker of Beaumont, TX, Opal Aiden of Hornbeck, LA and Doris Prewitt of Vidor, TX.
