He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmuth "Bo" Bode and Emlyn "Emmy" Bode; and his brother Jim Bode. He is survived by: his wife Liz Bode; his children, Denise Turner (Mark), Heather Duke and Sean Ohlrich (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ashley Boston (Jordan), Christine Scarbrough (Stephen), Katie Smith (Travis), Dustin Womack and Jared Ohlrich; and his siblings, Lynn Dunn (Crae), Bob Bode (Julie) and John Bode (Mary Beth). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
