We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 96, William Byrd Hataway (Beaumont, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willia Mcleish and Garrett Arthur Hataway, Sr.; and his daughter Susan Hataway Lejunie. He is survived by: his wife Joan Mayfield Hataway; his son Bill Hataway, Jr. (Maria) of Dripping Springs; his grandchildren, Katrina Noah of Cypress, Nicole Morgan, Mariah Morgan, Jaxson Hataway of Dripping Springs, Ashley Timmons of Serepta, Louisiana, Joshua Lejunie, Adam Lejunie and Jenafer Lejunie; and his great grandchildren, Madchen Morgan of Dripping Springs, Maelynn and Raelynn Lejunie.
