William Eugene Walton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2025, at the age of 88, William Eugene Walton of Beaumont, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydee Davis Walton and John Robertson Walton; his wife Rosa Mae Long Walton; his son William Mark Walton; and his brother-in-law Reverend Austin Lewis.

He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Van Dorn; his grandchildren, Marcus Walton (Cynthia Mendez), William Andrew Walton (Kristine Pangilinan), Amanda Martinez (Alex), Calvin Van Dorn (Rachel), Nicholas Van Dorn (Holly) and Gwyneth Brown; his great grandchildren, Amélie Mendez Walton, Willfred Walton, Rylee Van Dorn, Olivia Van Dorn, Diana Martinez and Demetri Martinez; his daughter-in-law JoAnn Walton Graham; his siblings-in-law, Iva Nell, Gilmer Phillips and Lorene Lewis; and his close friend Mary Jo McKinney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family and Friends the Apostolic Church of Beaumont (3333 Eastex Fwy, Beaumont, TX 77706). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Apostolic Church (3333 Eastex Fwy, Beaumont, TX 77706). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Huffines Cemetery.
