He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Mitchell Sr. and Beulah Elisabeth McClendon Wylie; his son Adam Mitchell; and his sister Delores Spencer. He is survived by: his children, Heath Mitchell (Leticia), Jason Mitchell (Coty) and Shelly Gasca (Oscar); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Mitchell; his siblings, Danny Lee Peeples (Sharon), Sandra Chambliss (Bobby) and Donna Peeples; and his grandchildren, Chaise Mitchell, Isabella Mitchell, Gage Mitchell, Leah Pfenninger, Austin Gasca, Grant Mitchell, Nathan Mitchell and Grace Mitchell. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
